upposter

So I have been on summer break for a little over two weeks now. And most of what I have been doing is watching movies. Ever since I started my Netflix account thats what I end up doing most days. And I like it cause I am able to catch up on movies I didn’t get to watch. I think I am a little obsessed with it right now. I have been watching a lot of movies,  some of which are pretty good movies. Aside from watching movies at home I have also watched two really good movies out in theaters too. Up and Hangover. Both movies I recommend for people to watch. I also recommend Secret Life Of Bees, Into the Wild, and Smart People .

Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

love.

March 20, 2009

i_love_you_manAfter watching Adventureland, I caught the midnight showing of I Love You, Man with my boyfriend, J Diaz, and his roommates and their girlfriends. Two funny movies in one night. Two good movies in one night. This is a movie you all have to see. Jason Segel is freaking brillignt in this movie. I was laughing so hard in this movie too. Paul Rudd I think took it home with his awkwardness and the most random, never before heard sayings. It was just great. I liked how Jason Segel seemed to be a mister cool guy in the movie too. It was different from how he was in Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

So without saying anything that further divluges into the story, I will end right here. But please go watch it. Is worth the money to see it.

Have a great weekend.

adventure.

March 19, 2009

I just got back from watch an advanced screening of Adventureland, and I must say that I like it. Of course, I reccommend it to you all. This movie was funny with still having a very serious tone to it. It is a good mixture of romance and comedy. Movie was set in the 80’s. The leading actors were very good. The lead male character, played by Jesse Eisenberg, had a very Michael Cera appeal to him, but do not get me wrong he played the role well. Kristen Stewart, who is best known for her role a Bella Swan of Twilight, was the leading lady in this movie and did somethings that I have not seen her do. Although I must admit there were times in the movie where I was seeing Twilight and not Adventureland.

I thought the other characters were well casted. From Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Martin Starr to Ryan Reynolds they all played their roles really well. Oh man, I could not get enough of Martin Starr almost every time he was on screen he just did something to make me laugh.  Before I go off and start telling you the whole story and ruin it all and over hype it,  I am going to stop now.

Go out and watch it on April 3.

Ridiculous Things!!!

May 6, 2008

Okay, this was way to funny not to share. You may have seen this already, but whatever. I was on youtube today and I came across this man who makes vegetable instruments. Ridiculous, right? I found this video very entertaining. Here is the translation of what he is saying, but you don’t really need it to pretty much understand what he is saying.

Translation:

Then, let’s introduce the vegetable musical instruments that can have been done this time.
It is a carrot ocarina first.
And, it is an ocarina of a white radish in Japan that can have done this time.
The octave is geted down from the carrot ocarina.
The broccoli ocarina was made.
A good sound is not heard because only such a broccoli was obtained this time. And, a carrot ocarina of the slide type and this carrot ocarina is different the sound hole. When the breath is put here, something is heard. It shaped ..so…
The paprika was punctured. When the breath is put here, such a sound is heard. It is an owl. Carrot panpipe. When the breath is put in this, such a sound is heard. Similary asparagus panpipe was made. However, a good sound is not heard. It is a trumpet of the cucumber and the paprika in the end. There were musical instruments that looked alike also in the vegetable orchestra. Moreover, when musical instruments can be done, I introduces it. Thank you.

Enjoy!
